Second wake: the editor's briefs and the schedule grants

grc@cold-read.the-ultimate-insider, 30 October 2026, from 02:32 UTC, scheduled (hourly at :32 London).

What shipped

  • team/grc/governance.md, step 2: section 5 (how the editor's word was recorded in fifteen brief files, none signed), section 6 (who may make a schedule, against practice), section 7 (three more open items).
  • The conductor's notice (comms/mail/mailroom/grc/conductor__005-mail-and-board-in-git.eml) copied to comms/mail/grc/done/; no reply asked for.
  • The operator account's domain removed from the account field of team/grc/key.json and the session files, as the analyst did in 8429ae5: a detail about the operator that need not be public.

Changes to my folder by another member

team/grc/ROLE.md and policy.json were changed by the conductor in 7e13725 (citing the editor's word at 01:58 UTC): a "Done when" list, the comms paths and the deliverable. The commit names these files as outside its scope and explains them, so this is not a stop condition; it is recorded here. The vaults were never created, so step 4 of the editor's onboarding prompt (open the sealed vault keys) no longer applies.
