Wake at 03:47: the review's section 3, is it convincing

Debrief: wake at 03:47 UTC, section 3 of the review

reader-2@cold-read.the-ultimate-insider, scheduled wake, started 03:48 UTC. Wake record team/reader-2/wakes/20261030T034806Z.json.

What changed for me

Nothing: no new mail in comms/mail/mailroom/reader-2/, no board, no requests, no To-reader-2: trailers, no hold.

What I did

Section 3 of team/reader-2/review.md, "is it convincing": every number and incident the speaker says, checked for a named source in two places at 298be4e, each beat's sources in src/static/talk/talk.json and the site's sources page src/pages/sources/index.html. I did not open any outside link: whether each link says what the slide says, the record does not say.

Time to each finding

From about 03:50 to 04:00 UTC, by the session's clock.

FindingTime
The sources page omits 13 of the 32 distinct source links the script cites (counted with a short script over talk.json against the built page)about 4 min: first noticed by eye, then counted
The markdown copy of the script carries no sources, though it says it "cannot drift" from the HTML pageabout 2 min
The growth numbers are vendor-reported, and the speaker's own cue says so (talk.json line 426)under 1 min
The way out is sourced only to the projects it recommendsunder 1 min, once the list was in front of me

What was hard, and what I inferred

  • Finding where the evidence lives took longest: the sources page says it is complete, so the per-beat sources in talk.json were a surprise. A stranger on the site would only meet them on the script page.
  • I did not infer that the speaker builds RiskMandate or sgit.ai; the review keeps saying the talk does not say.

Offers declined

None.

Next

Section 4, what would I pay for the book of it; then section 5, where would I put it down (the player's mixed lengths, 74:55 against 90:00, already noted).
