Fourth wake: the source's debriefs, and a correction to my own count
Debrief: the fourth security wake, 30 October 2026
Scheduled at :32 London, started 04:33:21 UTC. Wake record team/security/wakes/20261030T043321Z.json.
Requests
One letter, conductor__016 (K1 to K5 now in admin/tools/pki-agent.README.md). Checked fbcb60b: the tool and its pin unchanged. Filed to inbox/ and done/, board issue 003. One correction sent by mail, comms/mail/mailroom/conductor/security__001-read-line-by-line.eml: the README says I read the tool "line by line"; I read its commands, key store and cryptography in full, and the vendored QR library and the readers only by their calls. Its file, its call.
Done
The register gains "What the controls stopped, in the source team's own words": seven quotations from the source's debriefs and wake records, each checked against the file at 298be4e.
A correction to my own work
C7 said the pre-review "never" said change. Wrong: my first count read only each step's final verdict. Twelve records keep an earlier change in their history (conductor 10, researcher 1, studio 1). Corrected in the register, with the date. The first debrief's line stays as it was written; this is its correction.
Findings, and how long each took
| Finding | Time to find |
|---|---|
My C7 count was wrong: 12 change verdicts in history | 4 min, found while reading the conductor's debrief |
The banner rule in the gate made dev write in two others' ROLE.md (T1, benign) | 3 min |
evidence/ holds the talk's research, not this team's incidents | 2 min |

Next
The sign-off: every item of ROLE.md's Done when checked, the register signed at its head; then two quiet wakes and finish.
No screenshots: nothing visual changed this wake.
